Hello! I’m Edie, the founder of Suffolk SingOut.

From a very young age (much to my piano teacher’s skepticism), music has always been a constant in my life. Piano lessons, singing in choirs, and performing in school shows quickly became more than just activities — music was where I felt comfortable, confident and understood, in a way traditional education never quite offered me.

I started the Woodbridge Community Choir in 2016 and, in 2025, formed Suffolk SingOut to help make music as accessible as possible. Today, I run community choirs and workshops, offer 1–1 vocal, piano and musical theatre coaching, and lead sessions in care settings — all with a focus on creating warm, inclusive and pressure-free spaces.

My sessions are participant-led and steer away from more traditional formats, prioritising enjoyment, confidence and connection above all else.

  • Edie Farrell

    FOUNDER

    Edie is hands-on in the planning and delivery of all Suffolk SingOut projects - always ensuring accessibility and inclusivity is at the heart of everything we offer. You’ll often find her creating original choir arrangements, planning the next holiday workshop, or bringing big events to life.

  • Leah Godbold

    WORKSHOP LEADER - VOCALS & DRAMA

    Leah is an integral part of the Suffolk SingOut team, bringing energy, creativity and a strong background in music and drama to every session. She is a qualified Music and Drama teacher with specialist training in musical theatre and contemporary vocal teaching.

  • STEPH LINCOLN

    WORKSHOP LEADER - DANCE & DRAMA

    Steph shares our fun & welcoming ethos when running our workshops. Her experience as Head of Drama & Dance in a local secondary school and her work with SEND groups in primary schools, is integral to the team, helping to keep our workshops inclusive and accessible.
